You’re probably well practiced at taking your car for its MOT every year. Motorhomes are no different. Regular servicing is required to ensure your motorhome, campervan or caravan remains road safe, not only for yourself, but for other road users. Your motorhome must have a Class 4 MOT by law for to be deemed road safe – as an approved MOT testing centre, we’re here to make sure any mechanical problems are ironed out, so you can continue enjoying your travels! The second part of motorhome servicing that we offer is a habitation service, which covers all interior parts of the vehicle. This helps to keep all appliances working at peak performance and prevent any dangers which may arise from faulty equipment.

In addition to the regular MOT which your vehicle should be covered by as standard, we also recommend that your motorhome, campervan or caravan is booked in for a habitation check annually, or, at the very least, every two years. Maintenance of interior utilities helps to ensure your vehicle is safe for use and operates correctly when you come to use it before problems become too difficult to manage.

As an NCC (National Caravan Council) approved workshop, you can rest assured that our habitation service is extremely thorough and requires expert technicians working to the highest standards. A habitation check includes, the gas, electrical, water and heating systems to ensure all appliances continue to operate as they should. This is a great opportunity to check for and tackle problems such as damp, faulty smoke alarms and blocked vents.
